The dangers of sitting too long

Sitting is an underestimated danger - this is mainly due to the fact that the consequences often only become noticeable in the long term. The consequential complaints that can result from the direct damage should not be underestimated. Some of the many negative effects of too much desk work include:

  • Neck, back and joint pain due to the rigid posture for several hours, incorrect posture further exacerbates the problem

Tip 1: Movement breaks & standing activities

In order not to endanger your health and to stay fit even on long working days, you should sit for a maximum of 60 minutes at a time. After this time, your concentration will already decrease and you will slowly become tired, which will also affect your performance. In many companies, 2-3 hours of meetings a day is normal, and most employees naturally participate in these sitting. You can do your health a favor by standing up for all your phone calls from now on.
